Assumption, Blessed John XXIII, St. Anthony’s

The Core Team of Assumption, Blessed John XXIII and St. Anthony’s have recommended that the Religious Education Programs of all parishes merge into one Parish Religious Education Program for the 2009-2010 school year. Catechists from all the parishes are encouraged to continue their service to the children of our programs. All classes will be held at Assumption School.

We understand that this will mean an adjustment for some of our families, but it is our sense that many of our children are already in the same school communities or sporting activities of our communities and as such already enjoy each other’s friendship. It will be natural to join together in their faith formation.

Registration will take place beginning Sunday, April 26^th. You may register at your parish office or the office of Religious Education at Assumption School. Please indicate on the form your choice of time and day for class. If you did not receive a registration form, you can print the form that is published on this website or call the parish Office of Religious Education. 

Fee schedule is:

$60.00 plus $10.00 Book Fee for one child ($70.00)

$85.00 plus $10.00 Book fee per child for two children in a family ($105.00)

$110.00 plus $10.00 Book fee per child for three or more children in a family

Checks should be made payable to "Assumption Parish"

We will continue to offer the Family Catechesis option as an alternative to the traditional class.Enrollment in the family catechesis program requires that parent and child attends a session once a month on a Thursday night. The parent is provided with a family book that provides a home study plan. In addition, students will be tested on a regular basis.

Please be advised that we will try to accommodate schedules of families in all our parishes. If the enrollment warrants an additional session, we will add another session on Sunday morning and/or Monday evening. It is most important that current families register by May 30^th so that we are able to adjust the schedule if the need arises.
